Working in Singapore as a Filipino is rather an interesting thing. There's pretty much the discrimination, the being laughed at for not speaking the proper Singlish which our educational institutions deemed right on American Standards, and call center training sessions too I bet, the apple of the eyes of the "de colors" for a free ride, and the domestic help for the Chinese.
With much of the things to think of, aside from the office politics especially if you're in one, you are still to meddle with the Philippine Government despite the misconception that "hey, I am not on Philippine land, you can't touch me".

So, yes, rumor is true. I don't have a TV set to get updated on the AXN shows.
But it really doesn't stop me from finding a way to get a sneak peek of the Amazing Race Asia Season 2.
I have to admit this is the first time I have really watched and tried to watch every possible episode I can.
So now we have a good candidate for next week's show of Tyra, Maury, and Dr. Phil (please note I have not included Oprah since I don't think they deserve her presence).
I know it may be harsh but seriously in my honest opinion Henry and Trinidad should be kept outside the camera frame rather than inside.
I know it's true that not all relationships or marriages are of sweet coating and fancy little things of love but after watching the two really made me want to go under the sheets and comforter and deny my Filipino line.
Trying to be unbiased here but here's the basic 411 of the two:
Henry is retired from working for his country, the United states of A. Trinidad, or Terri as she goes by, is well I dunno maybe a house wife ??? I really dunno. They admit that they are a dysfunctional couple. Yeah, that's one step of getting to improve you and your relationship, but come on Terri screaming at the guy for asking directions and being cool headed on the race and not giving up?
You know, what's even more heartbreaking is that to see the guy really broke down in front of the teams while waiting at the airport and the small segments where the teams get to talk on their experience of the leg of the race.
