This is a rather interesting week. Well of course there's that office argument, assigning of tasks, taking tabs of status, and well conversations over lunch which well I have somehow eluded given the power of home heated roti prata , aka Indian Pancake lol.
But for the first time, I won something based on performance and not of tangible market eg photograph, artwork. I was commended for one of the Employee of the Week and I turned out as one of the Employees of the Week.

A reward worth SGD50 of dining at
Tony Roma's, Seoul Garden and/or Breeks.

Yes, I am talking about the geeks. Hold on, not geeks as in geeks we know of who has a lot of zits and buck teeth and a poor sense of combining colors. It is people who are knowledgeable and do things quietly and still get it done.
But after reading into management books and having some drinks with project managers, marketing, sales and the like, I guess I understand it much more clearer now.
What used to be my view on awarding ceremonies has now turned of recognition and a break to the the monotony of work and to give people the drive. I guess management really considered how people value prizes.
I just find it funny handing the envelope to one of the Employee of the Week who just came in to work past 5PM in shorts, slippers and a shirt that has "The Geek Shall Inherit the World". And to think, I filed a work from home report for that day. LOL
But yeah, in order for you to do that, you should first sleepless nights working on the websites, being the technicians, and clashing against people for 9 months. -_- Thanks to those who have gave such good and nice recommendations.
The other 2 winners were also Filipinos. Nice no? Well I hope to win the Employee of the Month with my mug shot at the front :)) Then the Year. THEN THE WORLD MUWHAHHAHAHAHA.

Sakto! May panglibre ka na haha!
hey gratz. hehe
But Tony Roma's? I still think the ribs there ain't what they ought to be.. just gravy overdose on boiled slabs of meat...
Seoul Garden.. hmm. don't know that.
But there's this real uber cool place along Orchard road that would remind you of Malate during it's heyday. Plus of course, there's this waitress there from Ateneo. Forgot her name and lost her email address.
Nothing like a real cold beer served to you by an Atenean.. heheh
Then again, it's free so enjoy!
tonet!!!! I miss you na!!!!
